Job Purpose

To carry out accurate fitting, assembly, alignment, and fabrication of PEB structural components as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Read and understand PEB fabrication and assembly drawings.
Perform fitting and assembly of columns, rafters, beams, bracings, purlins, girts, and other structural steel components.
Carry out marking, measuring, cutting, drilling, grinding, and fit-up activities as required.
Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, levels, squareness, and joint fit-up before welding.
Coordinate with welders and other fabrication personnel for smooth production.
Check dimensions and component orientation as per drawings.
Use measuring and fitting tools such as measuring tape, try square, spirit level, vernier, and other hand tools.
Identify dimensional or fabrication discrepancies and report them to the Supervisor / Production Engineer.
Maintain required production targets without compromising quality.




Follow all safety procedures and use prescribed PPE.
Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the workplace.
Handle tools, equipment, and materials safely and responsibly.
Support the Production Supervisor in achieving daily production and quality targets.

Required Qualification & Experience
Qualification: ITI – Fitter preferred.
Experience: 0.6–2 years in PEB / structural steel fabrication preferred.
Candidates with relevant hands-on fitting experience in steel fabrication may also be considered.
Basic ability to read fabrication drawings is preferred.

Required Skills
Positive knowledge of structural steel fitting and fabrication.
Understanding of PEB components and fabrication processes.
Good measurement and alignment skills.
Ability to work with fabrication tools and equipment.
Ability to work in a production workplace and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
