Position: Assistant Professor – Data Science
Department: Department of Technology
Programs: B.Tech. / M.Tech. in Data Science

Key Responsibilities
Teach Data Science-related subjects to B.Tech. and M.Tech. students.
Prepare and deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, and laboratory exercises.
Develop course materials, presentations, assignments, quizzes, and examinations.
Guide students in academic projects, internships, and final-year projects.
Mentor students in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and related areas.
Conduct practical sessions using Python, R, SQL, and relevant Data Science tools.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and developments in Data Science and AI.
Encourage students to participate in technical competitions, hackathons, conferences, and research activities.
Contribute to research, publications, funded projects, and industry-academic collaborations.
Maintain academic records and evaluate student performance.
Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, seminars, and other institutional activities.

Educational Qualification
B.Tech./B.E. or M.Tech./M.E. in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Information Technology,



or a closely related discipline.

Required Technical Skills
Solid knowledge of Data Science and Machine Learning.
Programming skills in Python and/or R.
Knowledge of SQL, statistics, data visualization, and data analytics.
Familiarity with Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts.
Knowledge of tools/libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and Power BI/Tableau is preferred.
Knowledge of Generative AI, NLP, Computer Vision, or Big Data technologies will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹13,061.27 - ₹70,658.30 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:
Pune, Maharashtra (Pune, Pune District): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
