Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Shop Floor Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production. The ideal candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/shop-floor operations with solid knowledge of production planning, manpower management, quality, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day shop floor and production operations as per the production plan.
Ensure achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
Plan and allocate manpower, machines, materials, and resources effectively.
Monitor production output, productivity, downtime, rejection, and rework.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and PPC teams.
Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures.
Supervise operators, technicians, supervisors, and production staff.
Monitor machine utilization and coordinate with Maintenance for breakdown resolution.
Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct regular shop-floor meetings and review production performance.
Maintain production records, shift reports, and daily MIS.




Ensure proper housekeeping and workplace safety across the shop floor.
Train and motivate employees to improve productivity and work discipline.

Requirements
Education: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Shop Floor Management.
Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes and shop-floor operations.
Experience in manpower planning and production target management.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and basic quality tools.
Valuable understanding of ERP/MRP systems and MS Excel.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in shifts and handle pressure in a production environment.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
