Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Communication Design curriculum, incorporating UI/UX, Motion Graphics, Digital Branding, Data Visualization, and emerging design technologies.
Establish the department’s academic, creative, and professional vision.
Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members and manage teaching responsibilities.
Build a solid creative and collaborative culture among faculty and students.
Develop partnerships with design agencies, advertising/marketing firms, technology companies, and other industry organizations.
Create opportunities for internships, live projects, industry interactions, and student placements.
Represent the department at industry events, conferences, design forums, and academic platforms.
Guide students on academic development, career opportunities, and professional practices.
Manage the department’s budget, software, equipment, studios, and infrastructure.
Ensure academic quality, assessments, compliance, and accreditation requirements are maintained.
Handle escalated student and academic matters effectively.




Identify opportunities for research, consulting projects, grants, and industry collaborations.
Track departmental performance and report progress to senior management.

Ideal Candidate
Master's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design, or a related field.
8–10+ years of experience in academic leadership and/or senior design industry roles.
Experience as HOD, Program Director, Academic Head, Creative Director, or Design Director is preferred.
Strong skilled portfolio or demonstrated academic/creative achievements.
Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, and team-management skills.
Solid understanding of current design industry trends and digital design technologies.
Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and academic operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month
