As a Software Engineer at Principal Financial Group, you will be at the forefront of crafting innovative and high-performance software solutions. Your role will involve crafting, developing, and implementing software that drives our products.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain front end applications using React, TypeScript, Next and related frameworks.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging.
Collaborate with team members to analyze requirements, design solutions, and deliver features on time.
Assist in bug fixing, performance tuning, and application enhancements.
Document technical solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications
Software Engineer with solid expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge, hands-on experience in TypeScript, React.js, Node.js, and proficiency in AWS cloud services to build robust, secure, and productive solutions.
Experience: 2 to 4 years
Education:



Bachelor s(Engineering)/Master s in computer science or a related field.
Must-Have Skills React.js: Components, hooks, state management.
Must-Have Skills TypeScript: Robust typing, interfaces, generics.
Must-Have Skills Next.js: SSR, SSG, routing, and performance optimization.
Must-Have Skills UI Best Practices: Responsive design, accessibility (WCAG basics).
Must-Have Skills Testing: Jest, React Testing Library.
Must-Have Skills AWS : EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Eventbridge, API Gateway, Step Function, CloudWatch.
Good to Have Exposure to Microservices architecture.
Good to Have Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Good to Have Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
