Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and standards at the project site.
Ensure compliance with all applicable statutory requirements, local regulations, and company safety guidelines.
Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
Lead safety induction programs, toolbox talks, awareness campaigns, and training sessions for employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
Monitor work permits, high-risk activities, and safety compliance during construction activities.
Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports and implement preventive and corrective measures.
Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities on EHS-related matters.
Ensure proper implementation of emergency preparedness and response plans, including mock drills and evacuation procedures.
Monitor environmental compliance related to waste management, pollution control, water management, and sustainability initiatives.
Maintain EHS documentation, records,



statutory registers, and compliance reports.
Drive a robust safety culture and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety performance.
Track and report key EHS performance indicators to project and management teams.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Science from a recognized institution.
Full time Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety, Construction Safety, Environmental Management, or equivalent qualification.
1012 years of relevant experience in EHS management within the Real Estate, Commercial Building, High-Rise, Mixed-Use, or Large Construction Projects.
Solid knowledge of construction safety standards, legal compliance requirements, and environmental regulations.
Experience in managing contractor safety and implementing EHS management systems.
Excellent communication, leadership, training, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in preparing EHS reports, audits, risk assessments, and compliance documentation.
