Position Title: Press Shop Supervisor

Reporting To: Production Head/ CEO

Position Summary:

The Press Shop Supervisor is responsible for managing press shop operations, ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervise daily press shop production activities
Allocate manpower and monitor operator performance
Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan
Monitor quality of press components and reduce rejection/rework
Ensure machine setup, die changeover, and process adherence
Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Tool Room, and Production Planning teams
Maintain production records and shift reports
Ensure compliance with safety standards and 5S practices
Train operators on machine operation and safety procedures
Monitor machine utilization and downtime

Qualifications Skills

Education: Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production,



or industrial Engineering

Experience: 3 8 years in Press Shop operation / Experience with power press, mechanical press, and sheet metal components/Prior team handling experience preferred

Skills Competencies

Knowledge of press shop operations and sheet metal manufacturing

Die setting and troubleshooting knowledge

Production planning and manpower management

Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills

Understanding of quality tools and inspection methods

Positive communication and leadership skills

Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP, production reporting)
