Role & responsibilities
Understand and interpret contract agreements and scope of technical requirements for projects/ proposals.
Ensure accurate piping specification documents for projects incorporating requisite codes and standards for projects (National and International, Piping Engineering Design and Material specifications Codes and Standards).
Deliver wall thickness, branch & stiffener calculations as per applicable codes (ASME, BS, EN, DIN etc.)
Prepare accurate specifications for Valves, Piping Material, Insulation, Painting & Misc./ special parts specification.
Prepare inspection & testing requirement specifications for Fabrication & installation of piping.
Enable smooth co-ordination with intra-discipline groups namely Layout, 3D Software Administration and with other Engineering and Non-Engineering disciplines.
Ensure Preparation of deviation list,



get clarification for queries & approval from client for deviation list.
Preparation of Design Documents for Piping Design Appraisals as per PED/CE, CRN/PE etc.
Coordinate with Procurement Team & Construction team for timely delivery and completion of projects.

Preferred candidate profile
Technical knowledge in the field of Piping Engineering applicable to various sector & Industries.
Understanding of Contracts
Knowledge National & International Design Codes, Standards & Regulations (ASME, API, BS, Indian, DIN, EN Codes & Standards)
Hands-on experience of working with ASME B31.1, B31.3, BPV Code, EN 13480 etc.
Conversant with requirements of European, American, African, Brazilian, Australian Directives
