Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Selenium and Java to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in automation frameworks, testing methodologies, and CI/CD integration, ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java
Develop and enhance automation frameworks (Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid, or BDD)
Execute automated and manual test cases to validate functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, and test case design
Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Maintain test reports and provide test metrics to stakeholders
Ensure best practices in automation, coding standards, and test documentation




Collaborate with Agile teams and actively participate in Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills & Qualifications
Solid experience in Automation Testing using Selenium with Java
Proficiency in Java programming
Hands-on experience with TestNG / JUnit
Experience in frameworks: Hybrid / POM / BDD (Cucumber)
Valuable understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
Experience with version control tools like Git
Knowledge of build tools such as Maven or Gradle
Experience in executing tests on CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Familiar with defect tracking tools like JIRA
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills

Nice to Have (Preferred Skills)
Experience with API automation (Rest Assured / Postman)
Knowledge of SQL / Database Testing
Exposure to Performance Testing (JMeter)
Experience with Docker / Cloud testing
Knowledge of Playwright or Cypress (added advantage)

Educational Qualification
Bachelors degree in computer science / IT / Engineering or equivalent
