Position Title : Engineer- Mechanical Design

Job Location : Pune

Educational Qualifications Required: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical/ Automobile) from premier Institute

Skill sets needed:
Understanding of Structures and Hydraulics components
Understanding of Construction Equipment machines and its subsystems for product integration.
Design Calculations and able to interpret same during design review.
Know how on principles of operation and functions of hydraulic systems.
Ability to read prints, drawings, schematics and communicate with internal customers.
Know how on hydraulic standards.
Hands on Assembly and Fitment issues addressed during design.
Knowledge of Design for Manufacture & Assembly
Awareness of cost factors in product design.

Roles & responsibilities -
Responsible for Concept Design of different aggregates of Structures and hydraulics components for Construction Equipment machines, improve designs by adding features, and Material BOM Cost reduction through VA/VE initiatives.




Concept work and Design of various components and Sub-Assembly/ Assembly of Construction Equipment machines.
Sheetmetal design and welded structures experience
Design Detailing, BOM compilation and Engineering Drawing release through Engineering Change Management process.
Coordinate with other teams / departments in finalizing the designs
Understand International Standard & follow the same within Team.
Maintaining Quality and standards during daily work.
Achieve deliverables as per given Timeline.

Candidates Profile
B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical/ Automobile) from premier Institute
Should have hands on experience in Product Improvements in design features and to resolve the issues in Production or field issues.
Core design Experience of 02 -05 yrs.
Solid in Written communication.
Hands on CAD UG NX, Teamcenter is must.
