Job Purpose
To drive effective governance, control, and continuous improvement of the settlement lifecycle by leveraging robust system knowledge, advanced Excel capabilities, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
Govern and monitor end-to-end settlement closure processes, ensuring adherence to approved SOP.
Review exceptional settlement closure cases requiring manual intervention.
Validate settlement financials, waiver amounts, excess receipts, and closure eligibility prior to account closure.
Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of audit trails for all settlement closure exceptions with tracker.
Coordinate with Business, IT, Operations teams for resolution of settlement closure issues.
Publish exception reports and governance MIS to management for effective oversight and monitoring.
Possess comprehensive knowledge of settlement-related systems such as Indus, LMS - Pennant, DMS, B2B, and related applications used in the settlement lifecycle.
Provide functional support for settlement-related system issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution.
Excel functions and formulas for data analysis, MIS preparation, reconciliation, and reporting.
Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of business information.
Develop and maintain trackers, dashboards, and reports for settlement, waiver, refund, closure, and exception monitoring.
Solid analytical and logical reasoning skills.
Support audit, compliance, and regulatory reporting requirements through structured data analysis.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Significant autonomy in making transactional decisions with banks.
Major Challenges
To get the revert from IT for issues observed.
Required Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualification: BCom
Minimum 4 years of experience
