Role & responsibilities

What Youll Do

Take Ownership & Deliver
Take end-to-end responsibility for database solutions you build
Own the quality, performance, and reliability of your deliverables
Proactively identify issues and drive them through to resolution

Build & Enhance
Design, develop, and optimise database-centric solutions on a high-volume data platform
Work extensively with Oracle 19c and SQL in a large-scale production workplace
Develop and improve ETL/data pipelines supporting critical risk data

Modernise & Evolve
Contribute to our planned Azure cloud migration, especially on Databricks as it ramps up
Support evaluation and adoption of recent technologies and approaches
Bring ideas and energy to improve how the platform is built and operated

Collaborate & Grow
Work closely with engineers, analysts, and business users globally
Learn from experienced engineers while taking increasing ownership
Contribute to a proactive, high-energy team environment

Core Skills
Strong experience with Oracle (19c) in a production environment
Solid SQL skills, including performance optimisation
Experience working with ETL pipelines or data processing systems

Programming
Comfortable with at least one language (e.g. C#, Python or Java)

Cloud (Preferred)
Exposure to or strong interest in Azure (e.g. Azure SQL, Data Factory, migration projects)

Additional (Nice to Have)
Experience with .net + SSAS
