Role & responsibilities
The Storage Engineer is responsible for monitoring, optimizing, and ensuring the health, performance, and cost-efficiency of global storage infrastructure.
The role focuses on managing NetApp NAS, IBM SAN, VMware vSAN, and related storage technologies, including provisioning, replication, DR, and troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities include capacity management, storage audits, performance analysis, incident resolution, and identifying optimization prospects.
The engineer will collaborate with internal teams, architects, delivery managers, and external partners.
Robust experience with tools such as ActiveIQ, OCUM, BlueXP, VROPS/Aria Operations, VMware vCenter, Excel, Power BI, and Rocket TE is required.
Candidates should have 5+ years of storage infrastructure experience, with robust knowledge of NetApp, SAN/NAS, backup & recovery, DR, ILM/SRM, and hybrid/cloud storage.
