Job Description

We are hiring an experienced Desktop Support Engineer for the Sony Pictures project in Kodambakkam, Chennai.

The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support and be capable of providing L1/L2 technical support to end users.

Roles & Responsibilities
Provide L1/L2 desktop and technical support to end users.
Troubleshoot Windows desktop/laptop hardware and software issues.
Troubleshoot and provide hands-on support for Mac/macOS systems.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications, and peripherals.
Resolve issues related to printers, network connectivity, email, and other IT peripherals.
Handle incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.
Maintain proper documentation of incidents and resolutions.




Coordinate with relevant teams for escalated issues.
Provide excellent customer service and end-user support.

Mandatory Skills
3+ years of Desktop Support experience.
Hands-on experience in both Windows and Mac/macOS support – Mandatory.
Valuable knowledge of desktop hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
Positive communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and handle end-user issues effectively.

Preferred Candidates
Immediate joiners / candidates serving a short notice period.
Candidates available to work from Kodambakkam, Chennai.
Candidates with strong Windows + Mac/macOS Support experience.
Candidates with prior experience supporting enterprise/corporate users.
