Role & responsibilities
Design Competency Requirement
Design and Development of IC Engine components
Engine Components design experience
3D modelling and Drawing (component, assembly etc.) in Creo.
DMU Packaging checks.
TPL/BOM preparation and release in PLM.
Benchmarking of Engine aggregate etc.
Coordination with internal agencies like Proto planning, Testing, Vehicle Integration.
Coordination with Suppliers.
Software Competency
Creo (2D and 3D) & PLM (Teamcenter)
Development Competency
Knowledge of different Engine Components.
Knowledge of manufacturing Processes like Machining, Casting, Forging, Forming, and Welding.
Knowledge of Processes like DFM / DFA / DFS and Design for Cost and Reliability.
Knowledge of GD & T & Tolerance Stack up.
Knowledge DFMEA, Failure Investigation & Problem solving Techniques.
