What the Hiring Manager is Looking For:
Senior Infrastructure Engineering Experience
Robust hands-on experience with enterprise x86 server platforms.
Preference for candidates who have administered and engineered production environments rather than performed validation/testing activities only.
Experience working with Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, and ideally Lenovo ThinkSystem settings.
Solid Automation Skills (Critical)
Hands-on Ansible experience is mandatory.
Candidates should have developed and maintained Ansible playbooks themselves.
Experience automating server configuration, compliance, firmware management, or Redfish-based workflows is highly desirable.
Basic exposure to Ansible is not sufficient.
Technical Depth
Candidates should be comfortable discussing:
iDRAC, iLO, XCC
Redfish APIs
Server hardware architecture
BIOS/Firmware management
Fibre Channel SANs
iSCSI storage




Enterprise networking concepts
Linux/RHEL administration
Ability to Work Independently
The role requires someone who can:
Receive a high-level requirement.
Design a solution independently.
Produce documentation.
Develop or coordinate automation.
Deliver production-ready outcomes with minimal oversight.

Candidates who mainly execute predefined tasks or require significant direction are unlikely to be successful.
