Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and develop piping layouts, general arrangements, piping plans, and isometric drawings for EPC projects.
Develop piping designs based on P&IDs;, equipment layouts, line lists, piping specifications, and project design criteria.
Prepare and review piping layouts, equipment layouts, pipe routing, isometrics, MTOs, and other piping deliverables.
Ensure proper routing of piping considering process requirements, accessibility, maintenance, constructability, and safety requirements.
Coordinate with process, mechanical, civil/structural, instrumentation, electrical, and other disciplines to resolve design interfaces.
Review piping drawings and deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications.
Incorporate client/consultant comments and ensure timely completion of assigned deliverables.
Participate in 3D model reviews, design reviews, interdisciplinary coordination meetings, and constructability reviews.
Provide technical support during procurement, construction,



and site execution and assist in resolving piping-related queries.
Ensure designs comply with applicable ASME, API, and project/client standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline.
Relevant experience in piping design, preferably in the EPC industry.
Solid knowledge of piping layouts, pipe routing, piping isometrics, equipment layouts, and piping materials/specifications.
Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and preferably exposure to 3D piping design software such as AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or SP3D.
Positive understanding of P&IDs;, piping components, valves, fittings, supports, and piping design practices.
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, or other process industries will be preferred.
Positive understanding of relevant codes, standards, and client specifications.
Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
