Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Principal Architect to lead architecture execution across large-scale engineering programs. The role focuses on translating solution architecture into scalable technical designs, driving engineering standards, governing architecture decisions, and enabling successful delivery across multiple development teams.

Key Responsibilities
Translate solution architecture into implementation-ready technical designs.
Drive architecture governance, design reviews, coding standards, and integration best practices.
Provide technical leadership across multiple engineering teams and workstreams.
Establish and enforce scalable architecture, security, performance, and reliability standards.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Drive DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and engineering excellence practices.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar platforms to improve engineering productivity and technical validation.
Mentor architects and senior engineers while serving as a technical escalation point for critical initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience
13+ years of overall software engineering experience.




8+ years in Principal Architect, Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar architecture leadership roles.
Robust expertise in Software Architecture, System Design, Distributed Systems, APIs, Microservices, Integration Architecture, and Cloud Platforms.
Experience leading architecture and technical direction across multiple teams or programs.
Robust understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, engineering governance, and architecture review processes.
Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent solutions.
Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.

Preferred
TOGAF or Cloud Architecture certifications.
Experience in Healthcare, Pharma, or other regulated industries.
Experience working within global delivery organizations.
