Role & responsibilities
Responsible for quoting, purchase orders, managing lead times and deliveries of purchased components and assemblies to support proto-type builds, demo unit builds, and start of production.
BOM analysis and processes verification in order to deliver improvements to product quality, performance and cost.
Performing local supplier audit and process audit
PO follow up and ensure timely delivery of raw materials as per production plan.
Monitor supplier non-conformance performance, identify and drive process improvement, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
Proactively engage with suppliers in Early Supplier Involvement initiatives and coordinate cross function team activities around defined actions enabling aligned specifications, supplier validation and delivered quality.
