Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Siemens RTU / SCADA Engineer with hands-on experience in Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU,SCC/SCADA software, and Siemens PAS software. The candidate will be responsible for configuration, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of RTU/SCADA systems for electrical automation and substation applications.

Key Responsibilities:
Configure, program, test, and commission Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU systems.
Develop and modify SCADA/HMI applications using Siemens SCC.
Work with SCC/SCADA software for monitoring, control, alarms, and data acquisition.
Configure and troubleshoot Siemens PAS (Power Automation System).
Perform RTU SCADA communication and integration.
Configure communication protocols such as IEC 60870-5-101/104, IEC 61850, Modbus, and other relevant protocols.
Conduct FAT, SAT, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
Diagnose communication, hardware, software, and integration-related issues.
Coordinate with site teams, clients, and engineering teams during installation and commissioning.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, configuration files, test reports, and commissioning reports.




Provide technical support for existing RTU/SCADA systems and resolve site-related issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in RTU/SCADA/automation projects.
Hands-on experience with Siemens SICAM A8000 RTU is mandatory.
Working experience with Siemens SCC/SCADA is required.
Experience with Siemens PAS is required.
Valuable understanding of substation automation and electrical control systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and networking.
Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel to project/client sites for testing and commissioning.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

Candidates with experience in substation automation, power utilities, electrical SCADA, RTU commissioning, and Siemens-based automation projects will be preferred.
