Role & responsibilities
Patient Monitoring: Track vital signs and conditions closely, reporting any sudden changes or critical deterioration to doctors.
Medication Administration: Give oral, intravenous, and subcutaneous medications safely according to exact doctor prescriptions.
Care Planning: Create, implement, and update individualized patient care plans.
Patient Education: Teach patients and their family members about disease prevention, home care, and post-discharge recovery.
Medical Records: Document all clinical observations, treatments, and medication timings accurately in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
Team Collaboration: Work with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to coordinate smooth patient transitions and handovers
