We are looking for a Design Engineer Mechanical who is passionate about machine design and wants to build a long-term career in the industrial machinery manufacturing sector.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will work closely with our senior design engineers and production team and will be responsible for supporting the design and development of various types of packaging and filling machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D machine models.
Assist in the design of machine assemblies, sub-assemblies, shafts, brackets, frames, conveyors, tanks, guards, fixtures, and other mechanical components.
Develop detailed part drawings, assembly drawings,



and fabrication drawings.
Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and component lists.
Understand and apply GD&T;, tolerances, fits, clearances, and machining requirements.
Select appropriate materials, bearings, fasteners, motors, gearboxes, pneumatic components, etc., under senior engineer guidance.
Modify existing machine designs based on production, customer, and performance requirements.
Coordinate with the production, fabrication, assembly, purchase, and service departments.
Visit the shop floor to understand manufacturing and assembly processes.
Check drawings against actual machine components and identify design improvements.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical design and assembly issues.
Maintain proper documentation and revision control of drawings.
Support senior engineers in developing recent machines and machine improvements.
Learn and apply practical machine-design principles related to PET bottling, filling, blowing, labelling, and packaging machinery.
