Role & responsibilities
Lead and manage all plant operations to achieve business, customer and operational objectives.
Provide leadership to Production, Planning, Quality, Purchase, Stores, Dispatch and Plant Administration.
Eliminate overdue order value by identifying the constraint limiting throughput and systematically increasing capacity at that point.
Ensure safe, effective and cost-effective operations while delivering products on time, in full and to the required quality standards.
Ensure effective production planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics and working capital control.
Drive system upgrades across quality and production management, implement industry best practices, and lead ISO, HSE and API compliance and customer audit readiness.
Drive automation, manufacturing engineering and cost reduction initiatives to lift capacity and reduce operating expense.
Maintain high standards of safety, quality, compliance,



5S and valuable manufacturing practices across the plant.
Maintain plant assets, machinery, utilities and infrastructure to support continuity of operations.
Develop high-performing leaders and teams through coaching, explicit accountability and training, and drive the performance management system with SMART goals.
Collaborate with Sales, Design and R&D; on new product introduction, manufacturability and customer commitments.
Develop and drive the operational roadmap supporting the company's medium-term growth objectives.
Monitor operational performance against agreed targets and drive corrective action to close gaps.
