Handle Current Product Development (NPD) activities from RFQ stage to successful production.
Study customer drawings, specifications and technical requirements.
Prepare and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), PFMEA, Control Plans and Work Instructions.
Coordinate with Design, Tool Room, Production, Quality, Purchase and other cross-functional teams for current product development.
Develop and validate forging and machining processes for recent components.
Coordinate for tool, die, fixture and gauge development.
Prepare and maintain APQP, PPAP and other NPD-related documentation.
Coordinate with customers for technical clarifications, development issues and approvals.
Conduct trials and monitor product/process development activities.
Identify process-related issues and implement corrective actions.
Ensure timely completion of NPD projects as per customer requirements and timelines.
Support process capability studies, MSA and validation activities.
Monitor development costs, timelines and quality requirements.
Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and applicable quality standards.
