Job Description:

Position: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Silvassa

Experience: 1 - 2 Years

Industry: Packaging

Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of packaging machines (filling, sealing, labeling, wrapping, etc.)
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues
Ensure minimum downtime and quick fault resolution
Maintain and update maintenance logs and reports
Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities
Work closely with production teams to improve machine performance
Implement continuous improvement (Kaizen / Lean practices)
Ensure compliance with safety standards and SOPs
Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors
Assist in installation and commissioning of recent machinery

Required Skills:
Robust knowledge of packaging machinery systems




Understanding of PLC, sensors, drives, and automation
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems (PM/TPM)
Familiarity with GMP (Positive Manufacturing Practices) (especially in FMCG/pharma packaging)
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in shifts if required

Required Qualification: - Diploma/ITI - Mechanical/Electrical

Salary :- Upto 3.50 LPA
