Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of copy editors to ensure high-quality editorial output.
Perform copy editing and language editing for academic, scientific, and technical content.
Ensure manuscripts adhere strictly to the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) guidelines.
Review grammar, punctuation, spelling, syntax, clarity, and consistency.
Edit for readability and structure while maintaining the author's intent.
Verify references, citations, abbreviations, tables, and figures.
Coordinate with authors and internal teams to resolve content queries.
Monitor team performance and ensure projects are delivered within timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Life Sciences.
Robust expertise in the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS).
Proven experience in team handling and mentoring editors.
Excellent command of English grammar and written communication.
Proficiency in MS Office and editorial tools.
Prior experience in publishing or academic editing is preferred.
