Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain production infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Manage GCP services including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC and IAM.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers and web servers such as Nginx/Apache.
Manage application deployments and CI/CD pipelines.
Perform server configuration, system updates, security hardening and access management.
Monitor infrastructure and applications and troubleshoot production issues.
Manage backups, disaster recovery processes and periodic recovery testing.
Work with developers and QA teams to support smooth application releases.
Identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking and performance issues.
Help improve infrastructure reliability, security and operational processes.
Automate repetitive operational tasks using Shell/Bash scripting.

Mandatory Skills
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Robust Linux administration skills




Experience with GCP Compute Engine / Virtual Machines
Experience with Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, VPC and IAM
Git and source code management
CI/CD and application deployment experience
Shell/Bash scripting
Basic networking and troubleshooting
Nginx and/or Apache
Monitoring, logging and production troubleshooting
Backup and Disaster Recovery concepts
Basic PostgreSQL knowledge
