Role Description The SEO Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The SEO Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing SEO strategies to improve organic visibility and drive qualified website traffic. Day-to-day tasks include performing SEO audits, conducting keyword research, overseeing link-building initiatives, and monitoring performance through web analytics tools. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and content teams, preparing performance reports, and recommending data-driven improvements to align SEO efforts with overall business and recruitment goals. The individual in this role is expected to stay updated with search engine algorithm changes and SEO best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform comprehensive SEO Audits and implement technical and on-page recommendations.
- Strong skills in Keyword Research,



including identifying search intent and prioritizing high-impact keywords.
- Experience with Link Building strategies to earn high-quality backlinks and improve domain authority.
- Proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track performance and optimize campaigns.
- Understanding of Marketing principles, including how SEO integrates with content, social media, and broader digital marketing strategies.
- 3–5 years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in agency or multi-client environments.
- Familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz) and basic HTML/CSS for on-page optimization.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
