Job Purpose:Design & Develop optics for infrared and visible systems ensuring system performance meets imaging requirement.
Accountabilities:• Responsible for Requirements gathering, Design to Realization of imaging lens.• Optimization, tolerancing in Zemax.• Perform stray light analysis for imaging.• Knowledge of design and test of optical components and system.
Mandatory Skills :Imaging / Lens DesignWorked for design of EO/IR systemsDesign verification and testingStrong skills in using Zemax Optics Studio
Preferred Skills:Understanding and estimation of DRIStray Light Analysis/ STOP analysisZoom lens designDemonstrated skill of realization of electro-optical systemHands on with Code VDefense / Aerospace experience.
Qualifications:• Bachelor/Masters in Optics/Applied Optics/Optical Engineering/Photonics• Required experience: 4-10 years as an Optics design engineer.• Knowledge of working with Zemax.
