India | Remote | Full time UK business hours Pharmacy Systems | Medication Management | EHR / EMR / HIS | Client-Facing Deep pharmacy systems expertise first Script Assist is looking for a Pharmacy Systems Manager with deep hands-on experience owning, configuring, implementing or optimising pharmacy or medication-management software. We are looking first and foremost for a pharmacy systems expert . You may currently work with: An EHR / EMR / HIS pharmacy module A Pharmacy Management System A PMR system A medication-management platform A hospital pharmacy system A dispensing platform A pharmacy inventory system A pharmacy automation platform You do not need to be an established department head. You may already be a senior specialist, application lead, module lead, product owner or emerging manager who is ready to take broader responsibility. What matters is that you genuinely understand complex pharmacy software. We can broaden an exceptional pharmacy-technology specialist into greater client ownership. We cannot teach deep pharmacy systems expertise from scratch. About Script Assist Script Assist is building the operating system for next-generation private healthcare in the UK. Our software is used by clinics, pharmacies and healthcare operators and already supports tens of thousands of medical cannabis prescriptions every month . The pharmacy side of Script Assist supports complex workflows across: Prescription processing Pharmacist and clinical review Dispensing Medication and product data Inventory Stock movement Batch and expiry management Order management Fulfilment Delivery Reconciliation User roles and permissions Reporting Integrations We are looking for someone who can work closely with our Director of Pharmacy and take increasing ownership across this environment. The role You will become a senior member of the team responsible for the Script Assist pharmacy platform. You will help us: Understand complex pharmacy requirements Configure and optimise pharmacy workflows Investigate difficult live issues Understand how customers are using the system Identify whether problems are configuration, workflow, data, permissions, training, integration or product issues Translate pharmacy requirements into clear Product and Engineering work Improve existing platform behaviour Validate fixes and releases Support implementations Support customer optimisation Improve how the platform operates as we scale This is not a generic project-management role. This is not pharmaceutical product management. This is not generic customer success. You need genuine pharmacy technology depth . ⚙️ Your pharmacy systems experience You should have worked hands-on with complex pharmacy or medication-management software. Relevant experience may include: Pharmacy workflow configuration Medication-management configuration Dispensing workflows Pharmacist verification Clinical checking Prescription processing Pharmacy work queues Medication and product masters Formularies Inventory Stock movement Batch tracking Expiry management Order management Fulfilment Delivery workflows Stock reconciliation Roles and permissions Workflow rules System settings Reporting Integrations UAT Release testing Defect investigation Root-cause analysis Go-live Hypercare Production support We want someone who understands why the system behaves the way it does . Relevant platforms and ecosystems Strong experience may come from: Oracle Health / Cerner PharmNet Epic Willow eClinicalWorks InterSystems / TrakCare MEDITECH Pharmacy Dedalus Altera / Allscripts Omnicell BD / Pyxis Hospital pharmacy systems Pharmacy Management Systems PMR systems Dispensing systems Medication-management systems Pharmacy automation platforms Experience with UK PMR platforms such as: Titan PMR Cegedim Rx RxWeb Positive Solutions would be particularly interesting. You do not need experience with Script Assist specifically. You do need deep experience with complex pharmacy software . What you should be able to work out When something goes wrong, you should naturally ask: Is the workflow correct? Is the configuration correct? Are the right permissions in place? Is the user following the correct process? Is the underlying data right? Is there an integration issue? Is this a software defect? Is this actually a new product requirement? Can existing functionality solve it? Can configuration solve it without development? What are the operational consequences? We want someone who can combine: Pharmacy knowledge + systems understanding + operational judgement Client-facing responsibility You will also work directly with UK pharmacies and healthcare operators. You will: Join and increasingly lead pharmacy client calls Understand customer requirements Explain system behaviour Help customers improve workflows Manage difficult issues Challenge unclear requests Push back professionally Give clear updates Manage actions through to completion Coordinate with internal teams Support implementation and optimisation You do not need to have spent your entire career managing clients. But you must be confident, articulate and credible enough to work directly with customers. ️ Product and Engineering collaboration You will work closely with: Director of Pharmacy Product Engineering QA Implementation Customer Support Client teams You may: Translate pharmacy requirements into product requirements Define expected system behaviour Help shape user stories and acceptance criteria Review proposed workflows Support backlog decisions Validate fixes Participate in UAT Support releases Investigate live incidents Identify recurring problems Improve pharmacy workflows over time You should be able to speak both: Pharmacy and software . The level we are looking for You will typically have around 4–12 years of relevant experience . You may be: A highly capable 4–6 year pharmacy-system specialist ready to step up A senior application or module specialist A pharmacy systems lead A Product Owner An experienced manager We care more about: Pharmacy-system depth Technical understanding Judgement Communication Ownership than the number of years you have accumulated. ✅ What we are looking for You should have: At least 4 years of relevant pharmacy-technology experience Deep hands-on pharmacy systems experience Strong understanding of dispensing and medication workflows Experience configuring or improving pharmacy software Strong understanding of inventory and operational pharmacy processes Experience with EHR / EMR / HIS pharmacy functionality, PMR or another substantial pharmacy platform Experience with UAT, releases or production support Ability to troubleshoot complex system behaviour Experience working with Product or Engineering Strong spoken and written English Confidence speaking directly with UK clients Strong organisation and follow-through Good judgement A hands-on operating style Comfort working UK business hours ⭐ Particularly valuable experience We would especially value: Oracle Health / Cerner PharmNet Epic Willow eClinicalWorks pharmacy InterSystems / TrakCare pharmacy MEDITECH Pharmacy Dedalus pharmacy Omnicell BD / Pyxis Titan PMR Cegedim Rx RxWeb PMR Dispensing systems Medication management Pharmacy inventory Pharmacy automation Pharmacy integrations Pharmacy implementation Product ownership Client delivery A B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PharmD or recognised pharmacist qualification is valuable but not required where pharmacy-technology expertise is exceptional.
