Role : Part-time, Weekend, Paid Internships (On-site)

For : B. Tech / M. Tech, BSc. / MSc. college students (2nd & 3rd year)

We are introducing a one of a kind part-time, paid, weekend-only internship (onsite) for college going students who cannot opt for a full-time internship due to ongoing college classes during the weekdays.

Internship Duration : 3-6 months

Internship Type : Weekends only (Sat/Sun) OR Full Time (Onsite)

Location : Bangalore (Giftd Minds R&D; Labs, HSR Sec-1)

Who is it for?

College students in their 3rd or Final year who have working hands-on practical, experience as part of their college clubs, participating and winning National and International Undergrad competitions (DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS EXPERIENCE):

1. Amateur Sounding Rockets - Aero-structures (Mechanical), Avionics (Electrical & Electronics), Propulsion, Ground Station (Radio & Sat Com), Payload / Recovery (Mechatronics)

2. HAM Radio, Cube/CAN Sats, Satellite Communication - Electronics & RF Communication Engineers

3. Aerial (UAV), Ground and Underwater (AUV/ROVs) Robotics - Full Stack Mechatronics Engineers

4. Automotive and Formula Race Car - Full Stack Mechatronics Engineers

Depending on the available time, the internship roles and responsibilities shall be divided into 2 parts. Project Based Product R&D; and EdTech

As a Hands-on R&D; Engineer:

This is what we are building at Giftd Minds currently. The selected candidate will be working on one of these based on his/her skill-set level, hands-on experience and knowledge depth.

Astronautics : Giftd Minds COTS & SRAD Sounding Rocket Launch in 2027 (with Apogee Targets of 10,000ft and 30,000ft)

Robotics & UAVs :

- A Disney BDX droid like bipedal Robot
- Autonomous Unmanned Underwater Vehicle UUV / ROV (Submarine)
- Stealth / Swarm Drones




- RC Plane with FPV + Head tracking camera control

Satellites, Radio Comms Ground Station & Astronomy :

- A Radio and Satellite communication Ground station for HAM Radio, geo-stationary, FM satellites, International Space Station (ISS) and Radio Astronomy
- Cube Sats & Can Sats
- 12 inch, collapsible, Dobsonian Telescope with automated star tracker

Automotive & Mobility :

- Automotive Security - Hardware Reverse Engineering
- Formula Race Car Build Engineers

As a Domain Subject Matter Expert & Mentor: Impact - Make In India, Viksit Bharat Mission, Future Innovators

All Giftd Minds, Interns dedicate a portion of their time and effort mentoring some of the brightest young minds - Giftd Minds students (10-15yrs) with hands-on advanced R&D; research and practical skill development in the field of Space-Tech, UAVs, Mechatronics, Robotics, EVs and beyond.

You shall be responsible for up-skilling and mentoring Giftd Minds students with hands-on skills related to your field of expertise.
