Role: Accountant

Location: Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh / Remote

Experience: 2 - 5 Years

Working Hours: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST

Schedule: US Time-Zone / Extended EU-Hour Support

Employment: Full-Time

Location Preference: Preference will be given to candidates from Jabalpur or nearby areas, as this is a Jabalpur-based, work-from-office prospect.

Key responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.
- Handle General Ledger (GL) entries and reconciliations.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Review and reconcile GL accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Support monthly/periodic closing activities.
- Assist with financial reporting and accounting summaries.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and support compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with US-based clients, vendors, and internal teams during overlapping business hours.





What we are looking for:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field
- 2-5 years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, AP, AR & GL
- Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with international teams
- Comfortable working 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
