SKA Group is looking for an experienced Pump Operator to operate and maintain construction-site pumps and ensure the smooth and secure operation of pumping systems at our real estate projects.

Job Summary

The Pump Operator will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining construction pumps used for dewatering, concrete pumping, water transfer, and other site requirements. The candidate must ensure safe and efficient pump operation while minimizing breakdowns and downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate construction-site pumps as per project requirements and instructions.
- Operate and monitor dewatering pumps, water pumps, concrete pumps, and other pumping equipment as applicable.
- Ensure proper pumping of water, concrete, or other materials according to site requirements.
- Check pump performance, pressure, flow, oil levels, fuel, and other operating parameters.
- Carry out routine inspection and basic preventive maintenance of pumps.
- Identify abnormal noise, vibration, leakage, pressure issues, or other equipment problems and report them immediately.
- Coordinate with Site Engineers, Civil Engineers, and other site staff for daily pumping requirements.
- Ensure proper positioning, installation, and operation of pumps and pipelines/hoses.




- Maintain cleanliness around pumping equipment and ensure proper housekeeping.
- Follow all site safety procedures and PPE requirements while operating equipment.
- Maintain daily records of pump operation, running hours, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure pumps are switched off safely when not in use.
- Assist maintenance/technical teams during repair and servicing activities.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of tools, hoses, cables, and accessories.
- Perform any other pump-related duties assigned by the Site Engineer/Project Manager.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of operating construction pumps and related equipment.
- Basic understanding of pump operation, pressure, flow, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to identify common pump faults and perform basic maintenance.
- Knowledge of safe working practices at construction sites.
- Ability to work in shifts and under site conditions.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

Qualification

ITI / Diploma / Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related trade will be preferred. Experienced candidates with relevant pump-operation experience may also be considered.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 2–6 years of experience as a Pump Operator in Real Estate / Construction.
- Experience in residential high-rise projects, basements, excavation, dewatering, or concrete pumping will be an advantage.
- Candidates who can independently operate and monitor construction pumping equipment will be preferred.
- Immediate joiners preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹32,000.00 per month
