Job description:

- Drive monthly financial closure, including review of provisions, accruals, reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules.
- Ensure timely and accurate GL accounting and closure by the finance/accounting teams across locations
- Review and ensure timely completion of intercompany reconciliations and confirmations.
- Coordinate and facilitate internal audits, statutory audits, and other financial reviews.
- Ensure timely preparation and quarterly publishing of financial statements and management reports.
- Establish and monitor appropriate accounting controls, processes, and compliance across the organization.
- Review financial accounting and reporting for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to applicable accounting standards.
- Work closely with business, finance, tax, treasury, and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team and ensure clear accountability for timely deliverables.
- Support the CFO & Management with reporting,



controls, and other strategic finance initiatives.
- Ensure that all statutory dues are filed on timely basis.

Desired Profile

- CA with relevant experience in financial controllership.
- Typically 5 to 8+ years of experience, preferably in a large-scale retail, jewellery, FMCG, or multi-location organization.
- Robust experience in GL accounting, month-end closure, financial reporting, audits, reconciliations, and internal controls.
- Experience in managing teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and large-volume transaction environments will be preferred.
