Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and repair instrumentation and control systems. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of field instruments, control systems, and related equipment while following safety and maintenance procedures.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial instrumentation and control equipment.
- Perform calibration of instruments such as pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analytical instruments.
- Troubleshoot field instruments, control valves, transmitters, switches, sensors, and related equipment.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation systems.
- Read and understand P&ID; drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and instrument datasheets.
- Perform instrument loop checking, continuity checks, and functional testing.
- Identify instrument faults and coordinate with the maintenance/control team for corrective actions.
- Maintain proper records of calibration, maintenance, breakdowns, and spare parts.
- Assist with commissioning, installation, testing, and modification of instrumentation systems.
- Work with PLC, DCS, SCADA, and other control systems as required.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out according to company safety procedures.
- Follow electrical/instrumentation safety standards and permit-to-work procedures.




- Coordinate with production and other maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime.
- Maintain tools, testing equipment, and instrumentation spares in good working condition.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- ITI / Diploma in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of relevant experience in instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing/process industry.
- Positive knowledge of industrial measuring instruments and control systems.
- Hands-on experience with calibration and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Knowledge of control valves, transmitters, sensors, switches, and positioners.
- Ability to read P&ID;, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of PLC/DCS/SCADA systems will be an advantage.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a maintenance team.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industries such as chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, refinery, power, manufacturing, or process plants will be preferred.

Pay: ₹11,908.80 - ₹48,697.35 per month
