About the Role
We are looking for a Civil Site Engineer to manage and supervise road construction work at project sites. The candidate should have practical knowledge of road construction and be capable of independently handling day-to-day site activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily road construction activities at site.
- Ensure work is carried out as per drawings, BOQ and specifications.
- Manage labour, subcontractors and construction machinery.
- Check road levels, alignment, thickness and measurements.
- Supervise Earthwork, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC and bituminous works.
- Coordinate with departmental engineers, consultants and other site staff.
- Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records.
- Take measurements and verify quantities of completed work.
- Monitor material usage and avoid unnecessary wastage.
- Coordinate with the office for material, machinery and manpower requirements.
- Resolve day-to-day site issues and report major issues to management.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned work.
Candidate Requirements
- Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in civil construction, preferably road construction.
- Good practical knowledge of road construction activities.
- Knowledge of site measurement, levelling and basic surveying.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Should be able to independently manage site activities.
- Willingness to work at construction sites.
Preferred
Experience with government road projects, PWD, UDA, Nagar Nigam or similar departmental works will be an advantage.
Immediate joining preferred.
Pay: ₹10,875.55 - ₹25,000.00 per month
