About the Role

We are seeking a Part time Japanese Language Trainer with a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in teaching or training Japanese.

The trainer will be responsible for delivering structured, interactive, and practical Japanese language training covering Japanese writing systems, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, speaking, and everyday communication.

The ideal candidate should be able to teach Japanese in a simple and engaging manner, provide practical conversational activities, and help learners build confidence in using the language in real-world situations.

The ability to communicate effectively in Telugu is mandatory, along with proficiency in English and Japanese.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging and interactive Japanese language training sessions.
- Teach Japanese language fundamentals, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence formation.
- Introduce and teach the Japanese writing systems, including Hiragana, Katakana, and basic Kanji.
- Develop students' speaking, listening, reading,



and writing skills.
- Conduct practical conversational exercises, dialogues, and role plays.
- Help students develop confidence in everyday Japanese communication.
- Explain Japanese grammar concepts in a simple and student-friendly manner.
- Teach commonly used Japanese words, phrases, expressions, and professional vocabulary.
- Provide practical exercises for pronunciation and listening comprehension.
- Guide students in reading and understanding basic Japanese texts.
- Train learners to write Japanese words, sentences, and short communications correctly.
- Introduce learners to Japanese culture, etiquette, and workplace communication practices where relevant.
- Use interactive activities, discussions, quizzes, presentations, and practical assignments.
- Provide real-world situations and examples to improve practical language application.
- Assess learner progress through assignments, activities, tests, and speaking exercises.
- Provide constructive feedback and individual guidance to improve learner performance.
- Support students in preparing for relevant Japanese language proficiency examinations, where applicable.
- Deliver explanations and learner support in Telugu wherever required to ensure effective understanding.
- Keep training content updated according to current language-learning practices and learner requirements.





Required Skills & Expertise

- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Japanese language teaching, training, translation, or related areas.
- Strong command of the Japanese language with excellent speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Strong understanding of Japanese grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and sentence structure.
- Proficiency in Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.
- Ability to conduct practical Japanese conversation and communication activities.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Ability to explain Japanese concepts clearly in Telugu and English when required.
- Strong presentation and classroom management skills.
- Ability to engage learners through interactive and activity-based teaching methods.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods according to different learner levels.
- Good understanding of Japanese culture, etiquette, and workplace communication.
- Comfortable conducting online training using digital teaching tools.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Japanese Language, Foreign Languages, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant Japanese language certification such as JLPT N1 or N2 will be preferred.
- JLPT N1/N2 proficiency is preferred.
- Prior experience as a Japanese Language Trainer, Japanese Faculty, Language Instructor, Corporate Trainer, or Japanese Teacher.
- Experience preparing students for JLPT examinations will be an advantage.
- Experience teaching students from Telugu-speaking backgrounds will be preferred.
- Experience working or studying in Japan will be an added advantage.
