Job Summary

DES-TECH ACADEMY is looking for a motivated and responsible Operations Executive to support our business development, college outreach, student engagement, placement and internship activities.

The role involves regular visits to colleges and companies, developing institutional relationships, coordinating seminars and career-oriented programmes, and supporting placement and internship opportunities for DES-TECH ACADEMY students.

The position requires a person who is comfortable with extensive travel, field work, communication and relationship building.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit colleges and educational institutions to develop institutional contacts and collect relevant college/institutional databases through appropriate and professional channels.
- Coordinate and support seminars, workshops, career guidance programmes and other student engagement activities at colleges.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with colleges, institutions and other educational organisations.
- Visit companies across South India to explore and develop opportunities for student placements, internships, industrial exposure and related collaborations.
- Identify and establish contacts with HR departments, recruitment teams and relevant company representatives.
- Coordinate with companies regarding placement drives, interviews, internships and recruitment requirements.




- Follow up with colleges and companies regularly and maintain records of interactions, contacts and opportunities.
- Coordinate with the Counselling and Admissions Team to support lead generation, follow-up and admission activities.
- Work closely with counsellors to improve enquiry conversion and overall admissions performance.
- Support promotional activities, institutional visits and other business development initiatives of DES-TECH ACADEMY.
- Prepare regular reports on college visits, company visits, leads, follow-ups, seminars, placement opportunities and other assigned activities.
- Achieve agreed performance targets related to institutional outreach, business development, placements, internships and admissions support.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development, operations, institutional relations, education marketing or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and maintain qualified relationships with colleges and companies.
- Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala and South India.
- Two-wheeler and a valid driving licence are required for regular field visits.
- Proficiency in Malayalam, Tamil and English.
- Good follow-up, coordination,



negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with internal teams.
- Target-oriented and willing to take responsibility for assigned activities.

Preferred Attributes

- Experience in the education/training industry, student admissions, institutional marketing, placement coordination or recruitment will be an advantage.
- Experience in college outreach or corporate relationship management will be an advantage.
- Candidates who are confident in meeting college authorities, HR professionals and corporate representatives are encouraged to apply.
