DESIGN ENGINEER

Designation: Design Engineer
Location: Madukkrai, Coimbatore

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed engineering drawings for heat transfer equipment and related systems.
- Prepare fabrication drawings, GA drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed component drawings.
- Carry out design calculations and ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards.
- Design and detail equipment such as Heat Exchangers, Pressure Vessels, Tanks, and other process equipment.
- Review customer specifications, drawings, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Fabrication, Quality, Purchase, and Project teams for smooth execution.
- Prepare BOMs, material specifications, and other engineering documents.
- Review and modify drawings based on customer comments and project requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical for fabrication, assembly, inspection, and installation.
- Support the team in resolving technical and manufacturing-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, calculations, and technical documentation.





Candidate Profile

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline.
- Positive knowledge of mechanical design and engineering principles.
- Experience in Heat Transfer Equipment / Pressure Vessels / Process Equipment will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with fabrication drawings, welding details, GD&T;, and material specifications.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and technical communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.
