Key Responsibilities

Supervise and manage daily primary and secondary packing activities for tablets/capsules.

Ensure packing operations are carried out as per BMR/BPR, SOPs and approved specifications.

Ensure proper line clearance before starting and after completion of packing activities.

Monitor packing machines and ensure proper operation, cleaning and changeover.

Verify and control packing materials such as cartons, foils, labels, leaflets, bottles, shippers, etc.

Ensure correct batch number, manufacturing date, expiry date, MRP and other printed details.

Maintain proper yield, reconciliation and packing material accountability.

Ensure compliance with GMP, cGMP, safety and hygiene requirements.

Allocate manpower according to the production plan and monitor worker performance.

Train and guide packing operators/workers regarding SOPs, GMP and safety practices.

Maintain and review packing-related production records and documentation.

Immediately report any deviation, breakdown, rejection, mix-up or abnormality to the concerned department.

Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, Engineering and Warehouse for smooth packing operations.

Ensure proper cleaning and housekeeping of the packing area.

Monitor daily production targets and minimize packing losses, downtime and rejection.

Ensure proper identification and segregation of approved, rejected and under-process materials.

Participate in investigation of deviations,



incidents and market complaints, whenever required.

Ensure proper implementation of change control, CAPA and other GMP requirements applicable to packing operations.

Maintain discipline and ensure compliance with company rules among packing personnel.

Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager / Head.

Qualification

B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / Diploma in Pharmacy or equivalent.

Relevant pharmaceutical packing experience preferred.

Required Skills

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
