Monitoring production against production planning of each shift.
Ensure good 5s at shopfloor every shift.
Preparing reports pertaining to Production e.g. DPR, Daily MIS etc.
Reviewing the production log book of shifts, analyzing and reporting the gaps to his supervisor in order to take actions and improve .
Verifying machine Check sheets/ CLITAs.
Verifying the functioning of poka-yoke related to machine functioning and safety.
Ensuring smooth handover with appropriate communication and information flow among shifts.
Ensuring all the Work Instructions, data sheets etc are being adhered.
Adherence of process quality standards, Work instructions, MCS, Check sheets etc to achieve best quality product.
Preparing the documents as per instructions from supervisors and maintaining records in good condition.
Supervising and managing the work of machine technicians / operators.
Coordinating with the cross functional team on various tasks to achieve quality objectives.
Imparting trainings to the shift supervisors and machine technicians on regular basis.
Imparting multiskilling training to machine technicians.
Motivating and guiding teams to achieve production targets.
Providing inputs to immediate supervisor for any necessary resources required.
Monitoring downtime, efficiencies, NCs, process losses etc on daily basis and actions to be taken to achieve targets.
Timely issuance of necessary Raw Material, consumables etc. to the machines.
Ensuring man safety at shopfloor.
Ensuring product identification and traceability.
Supporting the machine technician during trouble shooting.
