1. Deliver high-quality, compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered cancer care.
2. Evaluate patients and undertake appropriate investigations for accurate diagnosis and
staging of malignancies.
3. Perform appropriate diagnostic procedures, including biopsy, FNAC, endoscopy, and
other relevant procedures.
4. Explain the diagnosis, nature, and stage of cancer to patients and their relatives in a
clear and compassionate manner.
5. Discuss the available treatment options with patients and their relatives, including the
benefits, risks, and alternatives of each option.
6. Explain the expected treatment outcomes, prognosis, possible complications,
treatment-related morbidity, and long-term implications.
7. Perform appropriate oncological surgical procedures based on the nature, site, stage,
and extent of the disease.
8. Monitor the clinical progress of in-patients at least once daily and ensure appropriate
modifications in the treatment plan as required.
9. Make appropriate decisions regarding referral to other departments or
specialized healthcare facilities when necessary.
10. Supervise and monitor procedures and clinical activities performed by junior
consultants, residents,
and other members of the clinical team.
11. Diagnose and manage cancer-related complications and treatment-related
emergencies.
12. Participate actively in multidisciplinary tumor board meetings and contribute to
treatment and management decisions.
13. Exercise appropriate admission and discharge rights for patients under the consultant'scare, in accordance with hospital policies.
14. Maintain the confidentiality and completeness of medical records, including
investigation reports, treatment plans, prescriptions, and other relevant clinical
documentation, and provide individualized treatment plans to patients.
15. Conduct clinical trials and actively participate in research, academic, and evidence-
based clinical activities.
16. Participate in and extend community health programs, medical camps, cancer
awareness initiatives, and breast cancer screening campaigns organized by the
hospital.
17. Ensure effective coordination of healthcare-related activities within the hospital to
facilitate effective and quality patient care.
Pay: From ₹200,000.00 per month
