Job Title: QC Executive/Jr. Quality Executive
Department: Quality Assurance / Quality Control
Location: Vissanapeta
Reports to: Quality Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure that all raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods meet quality, food safety, and regulatory standards through systematic inspection, testing, and documentation as per company and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Raw Material & Packaging Material Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw materials and packaging materials as per approved specifications.
- Maintain inspection records, COA verification, and supplier quality feedback.
- Conduct random sampling and sensory evaluation.
2. In-Process Quality Checks
- Monitor and record process parameters at each production stage (mixing, frying, filling, sealing, etc.).
- Ensure GMP, GHP, and CCP/OPRP compliance as per HACCP plan.
- Check product weight, seal integrity, coding, and labeling accuracy.
3. Finished Product Testing
- Conduct routine testing for physicochemical and sensory parameters.
- Approve or reject batches based on QC results and specification compliance.
- Maintain retention samples and batch testing records.
4. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain records of all inspections, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly QC reports.
- Ensure documentation compliance with ISO 22000 / FSSAI / USFDA systems.
5. Hygiene & Housekeeping Monitoring
- Conduct daily hygiene inspections for production and packaging areas.
- Monitor cleaning and sanitation schedules.
- Ensure compliance with pest control and personal hygiene standards.
6. Calibration & Equipment Handling
- Ensure all QC instruments (pH meter, weighing balance, moisture analyzer etc.) are calibrated and maintained.
- Record calibration data and maintain traceability.
7. Non-Conformance & Corrective Action
- Identify non-conformances in product or process and escalate promptly.
- Coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues.
8. Regulatory & Audit Support
- Support internal and external audits (FSSAI, ISO, USFDA, customer audits).
- Assist in sample preparation, record presentation, and implementation of audit findings.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: B.Sc/B.Tech / M.Sc/M.Tech in Food Technology or related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of QC experience in food processing / packaging industry.
- Knowledge:
- Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS), HACCP, GMP, GHP
- Sampling and testing procedures
- Basic physical and chemical testing methods
- Skills:
- Attention to detail
- Solid documentation and communication skills
- Team coordination and problem-solving
Pay: From ₹28,000.00 per month
