We are looking for an experienced and qualified Obstetrician & Gynaecologist to join our hospital/clinic as a Part-Time Consultant during evening hours.
The ideal candidate will be currently working in the Government healthcare sector and looking for an opportunity to provide consulting services during the evening, subject to applicable government service rules and permissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient consultation for women’s health and gynaecological conditions.
- Evaluate and manage routine obstetric and gynaecological cases.
- Provide antenatal and postnatal consultations.
- Diagnose and manage common gynaecological conditions.
- Counsel patients regarding treatment options, reproductive health, contraception and preventive care.
- Identify cases requiring further investigation, hospitalization or specialist intervention.
- Maintain accurate patient records and consultation notes.
- Coordinate with the hospital's medical and nursing teams when required.
- Maintain high standards of patient care, ethics, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Attend to emergency/specialist cases as per the agreed scope of engagement.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Relevant clinical experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Preference will be given to candidates with established clinical experience and a valuable patient-care record.
- Candidates currently employed in Government hospitals/institutions are encouraged to apply, subject to applicable rules, permissions and NOC requirements.
