About the Role

Marvel Pathology Lab Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and responsible Lab Technician to join our laboratory team. The candidate will be responsible for sample collection and processing, routine pathology testing, analyzer operation, quality control, documentation, and maintaining laboratory safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, receive, identify, label, and process patient samples such as blood, urine, stool, sputum, etc.

- Perform routine laboratory investigations accurately and efficiently.

- Handle testing procedures related to Hematology, Biochemistry, Clinical Pathology and Serology.

- Operate and monitor laboratory analyzers, microscopes, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment.

- Perform manual testing and microscopic examinations wherever required.

- Prepare reagents, controls, slides, and other materials required for testing.

- Conduct daily Quality Control (QC) and maintain QC records.

- Check sample quality, quantity, labeling, and patient details before processing.

- Maintain proper records of samples, test results, QC, equipment maintenance, and laboratory activities.

- Follow laboratory SOPs, quality standards, hygiene and safety protocols.

- Ensure proper handling and disposal of biomedical waste.

- Monitor laboratory reagents, consumables, and stock requirements.

- Report abnormal/critical results, sample rejection, equipment problems, or testing discrepancies to the senior/in-charge.

- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of laboratory workstations and equipment.





- Coordinate with phlebotomists, sample collection teams, doctors, and reporting staff.

- Ensure timely processing of samples and accurate reporting support.

- Maintain patient confidentiality and accuracy of laboratory records.

- Perform other laboratory duties assigned by the Lab In-charge/Management.

Required Qualification

- DMLT / BMLT / B.Sc. MLT / M.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.

- 2–6 years of relevant experience in a diagnostic/pathology laboratory.

- Practical knowledge of routine pathology procedures is essential.

Required Skills

- Good knowledge of Hematology and Biochemistry

- Knowledge of Clinical Pathology and Serology

- Good sample handling and processing skills

- Experience in operating laboratory analyzers

- Knowledge of internal Quality Control procedures

- Basic computer/LIS knowledge

- Positive attention to detail and accuracy

- Good communication and teamwork skills

- Ability to work independently and in shifts when required

- Strong commitment to patient safety and laboratory quality

Preferred Candidates

Candidates having experience in diagnostic/pathology laboratories and practical knowledge of automated analyzers, sample processing, QC and routine pathology testing will be preferred.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month, depending on qualification, relevant experience, technical skills, and interview performance.

Local Candidates & Immediate joiners will be preferred.
