About the Role

Bharat Power Solar Energy Solutions is looking for an experienced and result-oriented General Manager (GM) to oversee the company's day-to-day operations and coordinate multiple departments.

The GM will work closely with the Managing Director/CEO and department teams to ensure smooth business operations, timely project execution, sales growth, financial discipline, team productivity, and customer satisfaction.

This is a key management position for someone who can take ownership, coordinate teams, solve operational challenges, and turn business plans into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities- Operations

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company.
- Coordinate between Sales, Finance, HR, Purchase, Marketing, and Project/Site teams.
- Convert management objectives into actionable plans.
- Monitor overall business performance and identify operational gaps.
- Ensure timely implementation of management decisions.
- Develop a structured, accountable, and performance-driven work culture.

Project Management

- Oversee solar projects from sales confirmation through installation and customer handover.
- Monitor project schedules, manpower, materials, and execution.
- Coordinate Sales, Purchase, Finance, Technical, and Site teams.
- Identify and resolve project delays and operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure projects are completed within approved timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor installation quality, rework, wastage, and customer handover.

Sales & Business Development

- Monitor B2C and B2B sales performance.
- Review sales targets, pipeline, lead conversion, and collections.
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing teams to improve business opportunities.
- Support the development of new sales channels and market opportunities.
- Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects from Sales to Operations.

HR & Team Management





- Identify manpower requirements and coordinate recruitment.
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and discipline.
- Establish and review department-wise KPIs.
- Conduct regular performance reviews.
- Identify training and development requirements.
- Handle major employee concerns and support a positive work environment.

Finance & Administration

- Coordinate with Finance on collections, receivables, expenses, and cash-flow requirements.
- Monitor project costs against approved budgets.
- Review major financial and operational expenses.
- Ensure proper financial and administrative controls are followed.
- Escalate significant financial deviations to the Managing Director/CEO.

Purchase & Material Management

- Monitor project material requirements and procurement schedules.
- Ensure materials are available when required for project execution.
- Review vendor performance and purchase costs.
- Ensure proper purchase approvals and processes are followed.
- Monitor material shortages, wastage, and emergency purchases.

SOP & Performance Management

- Implement and monitor department-wise SOPs.
- Ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Track department KPIs and performance against targets.
- Conduct weekly and monthly review meetings.
- Follow up on corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
- Improve processes and systems to reduce operational dependency on individuals.

Marketing & Customer Experience

- Coordinate with Digital Marketing and Social Media teams to support business goals.




- Review lead generation and marketing performance.
- Monitor customer communication, project experience, complaints, and handover.
- Ensure major customer issues are addressed promptly.
- Support initiatives that improve customer satisfaction and referrals.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in General Management, Operations, Project Management, or a similar leadership role.
- Experience managing multiple departments and teams.
- Strong understanding of business operations and project execution.
- Good knowledge of sales, finance, HR, procurement, and performance management.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.

Preferred Experience

Experience in Solar, EPC, Electrical, Construction, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related industries will be an advantage.
