Automation QA Engineer

Role Overview
Seeking a highly motivated Automation QA Engineer with strong automation testing expertise to work closely with quality engineering teams, software developers, architects, DevOps engineers, and product stakeholders. The role focuses on ensuring application quality, reliability, and performance through effective test automation and quality assurance practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze application logs, system events, and monitoring data to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Design and develop test scenarios that replicate various production use cases and application behaviors.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) using diagnostic and debugging tools.
- Prepare test plans, test strategies, and documentation aligned with established QA standards and methodologies.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Automation Testing/Quality Engineering.
- Strong experience in automation framework development, test strategy planning (STP), and test design documentation (STD).
- Hands-on expertise with Selenium and Azure DevOps.
- Positive knowledge of Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience working with JIRA and ServiceNow.




- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and quick to learn new technologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset.
- Understanding of business processes and customer-centric product development.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with PyTest.
- Exposure to cloud-based platforms and services.
- Basic knowledge of SQL querying and database setup.
- Familiarity with Retail Banking domain concepts.
