- Responsible for the overall electrical operations, maintenance, and safety of the plant/facility.
- Supervise and maintain electrical panels, motors, transformers, DG sets, wiring, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure regular preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
- Monitor electrical power consumption and identify opportunities for energy savings.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with the Electricity Board and other statutory authorities whenever required.
- Maintain electrical records, maintenance logs, inspection reports, and license-related documents.
- Supervise electricians and electrical maintenance staff and allocate daily work.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and ensure timely rectification.
- Ensure proper earthing, safety systems, and electrical installations are maintained.
- Coordinate with contractors and external service providers for electrical works and maintenance.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and as per applicable regulations.
- Handle electrical inspections and ensure compliance with C License requirements.
