Job Description: Business Development Manager (PR, Social Media & Performance Marketing)
Full-time role as Business Development Manager for Vygr Media - We are a Media house looking for sharp, business-minded individuals with PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN SOCIAL MEDIA & PUBLIC RELATIONS SALES to work with us - to bring clients onboard to do Brand Management, PR, Social Media, Performance Marketing with us - This is a Mumbai-based position full-time work from office. Location: Mumbai (Full-time, On-site) Department: Business Development & Growth
Reports To: Founder
Experience: 3-7 years (Agency/Media/Marketing background preferred)
Amount of salary: According to Industry Standards
Plus Incentives: 1x of Monthly salary - 2% incentive, 2x of monthly salary - 5% incentive, 3X and above of monthly salary - 10% incentive
Work hours: Monday to Friday 11 am to 6 pm
Key ResponsibilitiesPipeline Generation & Outreach
- Build and manage a robust pipeline across PR retainers,
Social Media marketing, and performance marketing mandates.
Sales & Conversion
- Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery calls, proposal creation, negotiation, and closing.
- Maintain a healthy conversion rate from discovery call to signed client, with clear weekly and monthly targets.
Reporting & Process
- Provide weekly pipeline reviews and monthly performance reports to leadership.
- Continuously refine outreach scripts, pitch decks, and sales collateral based on what converts best.
What We're Looking For
- 3-7 years of experience in business development, client acquisition, or sales — ideally within a PR agency, media company, marketing agency, or creator economy business.
- Proven track record of closing B2B deals, ideally retainer-based or subscription-style services.
- Solid communication and presentation skills; comfortable pitching to founders, CMOs, and senior decisi
