Job Purpose & Scope

The candidate will be part of the Digital Development Team who will be responsible for IoT Solution Development & Maintenance and related activities





- Should be able to understand project requirements by reviewing program objective, input data and output requirements with PM and client
- Development of Firmware, Web and Mobile application
- Should be able to write / review codes for Device to Server connectivity; Edge Device SDK
- Writing SQL/Oracle Procedures independently
- Integration of Application using WCF/Web APIs
- Work closely with Product Management and Technical teams to provide the technical oversight and leadership to IoT RD projects

Major Areas of Responsibilities & Authorities

1. Should have hands on experience in development and unit testing of IoT Solution
2. Solid Understanding of basic networking protocols - TCP/IP, UDP HTTPS, SFTP,MQTT,
3. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Azure DevOps
4. Should have experience with version control tools like SVN, TFS etc
5. Experience integrating with SCADA, and other enterprise systems.
6. Should have experience with connection services and have worked on projects connecting to smart tools and/or PLC, sensor, or other connected devices.
7. Python OOPs programming exp
8. Expertise in IOT Platforms
9. REST, JSON, RPC, SOAP/XML Either of MQTT, AMQP or some other message queuing protocols.
10. Multi-Threading and concurrency
11.



IoT Solution development and ideally Azure IoT hub, AWS or equivalent.
12. Event Streaming and specifically Azure Event Hub or equivalent.
13. Experience working with Secrets as a Service (Key Vaults)
14. Azure Functions (or AWS Lambda), Blob Storage and SQL Databases
15. Should have experience in Application development on IoT Platform, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Devops, Azure IoT Hub, Azure Key Vault, JSON, MQTT, Multithreaded Programming, NoSQL Databases, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Concepts, Python, REST Client, SQL, User Datagram Protocol (UDP)
16. Knowledge of RDBMS, SQL and/or MySQL and DB.
17. Understand project requirements and prepare technical specifications
18. Analyse the requirements and flag issues proactively
19. To write high-quality code for the requirements, design and technical specifications provided, with high levels of efficiency
20. To unit test the code outputs and arrest defect leakages at the earliest
21. Should have the flair to learn and upgrade continuously on technology and processes
22. Good understanding on the security measures for IoT solution development
23. Good understanding on Code repository and bug tracking, API testing, Simulators Load testing, Project management, Code management, Database management
24. Must have hands on experience in GitLab, Postman, Python, Asana, Meld, Robo3T or similar tools

Qualifications

Essential Qualification: Degree in Engineering (B.Tech. / BE) Electronics

Desirable Qualification: M. tech.
